A number of mergers have resulted in Vitens being the largest drinking water company in the Netherlands. We supply drinking water to no fewer than 5.4 million people and businesses. Its size means that Vitens has a vast amount of knowledge and skill at its disposal. The reliability and sustainability of the drinking water supply is also considerable. This size enables us to keep operational costs low, and this is noticed by the customer: our drinking water tariffs are among the lowest in the Netherlands.
Vitens looks beyond the national borders. Internationally speaking Vitens is involved in the drinking water supply of more than 20 million people all over the world.
